1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Branchless ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Branchless is a desktop application and associated web services that help software developers manage parallel git worktrees, development sessions, and AI-assisted workflows. The Service includes the desktop app, web dashboard, and API endpoints.

3. Accounts

You must create an account to use certain features. You can sign in with Google, GitHub, or an email and password. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activity under it, and you must provide accurate information. You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service.

4. Subscriptions and Billing

Branchless offers a free plan and a paid "Pro" plan, available on a monthly or yearly billing cycle. Paid plans are billed in advance and renew automatically until cancelled. You may cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and you retain Pro access until then. We may change pricing with at least 30 days' notice; changes do not affect the period you have already paid for.

5. Payments and Merchant of Record

Payments are processed by Lemon Squeezy, which acts as the Merchant of Record for purchases. This means Lemon Squeezy sells the subscription to you, charges your payment method, collects and remits any applicable sales tax or VAT, and issues your receipt. Your purchase is also subject to Lemon Squeezy's terms. We do not store your card details.

6. Refunds

If you are unsatisfied, contact us at branchlessdev@gmail.com and we will consider refund requests in good faith. Statutory rights you may have as a consumer under Serbian or EU law are unaffected by this section. Refunds, where granted, are issued through Lemon Squeezy.

7. Plan Limits

Each plan includes limits on repositories, sessions, and concurrent runs. Exceeding these limits may prevent you from creating new sessions or runs until the count is reduced or your plan is upgraded.

8. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to violate any applicable law, infringe intellectual property rights, distribute malicious software, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to any system. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

9. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, code, and content, is owned by Branchless and protected by intellectual property laws. Your code and data remain yours. We claim no ownership over repositories or files you access through the Service.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any defects will be corrected.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Branchless shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

12. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Serbia, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection or data-protection rights you have under the laws of your country of residence within the European Union. Disputes are subject to the competent courts of Serbia, unless mandatory law provides otherwise.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by email or via the Service. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
